Before you shell out the sweets, most of these visitors probably shout “trick or treat!" But why do they do that? In the United States and Canada, trick-or-treating has been a popular Halloween activity since the late 1950s. Children of all ages dress up in costumes and travel from house to house to receive treats in response to their call of “trick or treat!" The phrase is a subtle suggestion that if a treat (like candy) is given, then the child will not perform a “trick" (mischief) on the owner of the house. This popular Halloween custom has its origins in the ancient practices of “souling" and “guising." Nuestro C.E.C.I.E. 20 participó en la Jornada a la que asistieron Supervisores, Personal de Conducción y Docentes de idiomas de los veinticinco Centros de Idiomas de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires El C.E.C.I.E. 20 fue uno de los trece Centros que expusieron proyectos. El nuestro, VOCES, fue sobre la experiencia de contar con Asistentes de Idiomas: el trabajo en el aula de las docentes María Rosa Cabrera y Analía Grande y el entusiasmo de los alumnos de 5to y 6to año de estar expuestos a una experiencia de intercambio comunicativo real.

El C.E.C.I.E. 20 participando del Programa de asistentes de idioma Desde hace más de 20 años, el Ministerio de Educación de la Ciudad administra en la jurisdicción el  programa de asistentes de idioma  del Ministerio de Educación y Deportes de la Nación en convenios suscriptos con la Embajada de Francia, la Comisión Fulbright (EEUU) y el British Council (Reino Unido). Este programa consiste en la recepción de asistentes de idioma de EEUU, Francia y Reino Unido. Está regido por la reglamentación preparada por cada organismo responsable.
